
Mammals were identified by trapping, sign and/or sighting. This mammal list does not attempt to cover shrews or bats. Mist netting for bats was attempted on three different occasions near the meadow but no bats were caught. They have been seen flying in the evenings, but could not be identified. Traps were set for small mammal identification.

11. Clethrionomys gapperi - Grapper's red-backed bole
12. Zapus princeps - Western jumping mouse
13. Erethizon dorsatum - Porcupine
14. Canis latrans - Coyote
15. Ursus americanus - Black bear
16. Ursus arctos (historical sighting) - Grizzly Bear
17. Procyon lotor - Raccoon
