GENERAL INFORMATION
Eastern Oregon University is located in the beautiful Grande Ronde Valley of northeastern Oregon.
The Chemistry Department has five full-time faculty members with progressive research interests.
Student involvement is high in EOU's chemistry program. The SAACS, Student
Affiliate Chapter of the American Chemical Society,
is very active on EOU's campus. The club
has won five Outstanding and four Commendable awards in recent years. Student
research is an integral part of Eastern's undergraduate curriculum.
Eastern offers a BS/BA degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry, a 3-2 program
in Chemical Engineering, minors in Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry,
and a concentration in Physical Chemistry.
