E-Z-Add for mail lists

Usage Notes...
-
If you use your Eastern e-mail account, you can subscribe to many
EOU mail lists by authenticating your request on the E-Z-Add page.
You can also unsubscribe, provided you originally subscribed at
your EOU address.
-
You must enter a VALID username and password on the facstaff,
students, or legacy server to use E-Z-Add.
-
The list name is music-435 or bird-watchers or whatever the
mailing list is called.
-
You can cause a lot of confusion by subscribing to mail lists
with aliases (such as the first.last alias available on facstaff).
Don't do it. Use your real account@eou.edu.
-
Subscription requests are submitted to a batch queue. Usually your
request will be acted on in under a half hour. However, if you
try to subscribe to a CLOSED list, an e-mail with your request
will automatically be sent to the list owner. It is up to that
individual to take action, and we cannot guarantee response time.

Security issues...
Exit your web-browser after using this program or others will be able to
access your mailbox and discover personal info. If you can't exit the
browser, enter a bogus password when you're done and attempt to resubmit
the request - this should clear the cached value; but other users may
still be able to use "forward" and "back" to view whatever you've done.
It's also wise to clear the browser's memory and disk caches (if
possible). Clicking
here will discourage (but not prevent) "backing" into your work with
many browsers.
You should only use this program through http to servers where you would
not hesitate to use telnet or ftp.
