NEW BUSINESS
Minutes from last meeting approved as submitted after changing title (Dean Morgan to Vice President Morgan.)
New 801s (Workman Comp report)
-Slip on stairs at President's home. No time loss.
-Neck injury. No time loss (yet).
New Safety Grams
-None.
Vice President Morgan asked Irene to define Safety Officer position. Irene requested input from the committee. Sue Cain suggested that the Risk Management Officer, Safety Officer and Security Supervisor might appropriately be combined into one position. Irene will check with other similarly sized institutions to see how they handle the issue.
Steve asked for input from the committee regarding the security cell phones. Security needs to be accessible at all times, but there are instances when there is no cell phone service. Are there better options?
Vickie reported that some arrangements are being made with Art faculty
members to insure that senior art students have supervised access to the
art facilities during the mandated holiday school closure. Bob may work
a flexible schedule during that time to help with coverage.
OLD BUSINESS

the icy hazard at the north exit of Loso Hall. An extension of the roof
will also be constructed to cover more of the sidewalk.
-Ackerman stairway light issue has been corrected.
-Bob is still following up with the ash dumping issue behind Loso Hall.
-Physical Plant will construct fence around the Loso Hall gas meter. Bob
will process a Service Request.
Helen will ask the campus Webmaster, Gary Moses, to revamp the online Safety Gram so that the entire committee gets a copy whenever a Safety Gram is submitted. Committee members will be assigned to follow-up on each Safety Gram, make sure that it is resolved and then report back to the committee.
There was a request asking what should be included in a first aid kit. Irene will research and report back to the committee.
