Present:     Helen Moore, Bill Bensen, Steve Wadner, Jeff Witten, Steffany Long

 

The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m.

 

Steffany Long was introduced as the new student committee member.  

 

Motion was made to approve January Minutes.   Motion was seconded and passed.

• 1 accident:   Employee was pulling used fence from pile when uneven ground caused employee's feet to go out from underneath him, causing his leg to hit cement at the end of a post.   His leg was cut and bruised  

 

Non–801s – No Non-801 accidents to report.

 

Safety Grams – No new safety grams received.

 

Pending Safety Grams – Volleyball court issue still unresolved.  

 

Building inspections by Security Personnel have been completed.   Steve will send results to Helen and she will bring them to the next meeting for review.

 

Helen passed out copies of Hazard Communication chapter of Eastern's Safety Policy manual.   Members were asked to review and be ready to discuss at the next meeting.   Helen will mail copies to the members who were not at the meeting.
