Minutes from last meeting approved as submitted.

Safety Grams
-Ventilation issue: Fumes from burnouts in art area are venting into the Learning Center. Physical Plant personnel are looking into ways to modify the venting system and, as a short-term solution, Vickie will talk to Art faculty about performing the burnouts at times when the Learning Center is closed.
-Issue with blocked walkways in north basement area of Inlow Hall. Computing Center personnel are working with Admissions Office personnel to relocated the storage items creating the hazard.

The spring earthquake drill is scheduled for 10:30am on April 30, 2002. Teams, made up of Physical Plant personnel, building managers and safety committee members will organize and help with evacuation of buildings just as had been planned for the last (cancelled) drill. Teams will also have the same members as before.

Next meeting is scheduled for May 14, 2002 at 2:00pm.

Safety Committee Meeting Adjourned at 2:30pm, followed by a meeting of building managers, Physical Plant personnel and various Safety Committee members to go over the upcoming Earthquake Drill and view the Cal State Northridge video.
