Present: Helen Moore, Vickie Lee, Steve Wadner, Jeff McDonald, Jeff Witten, Sue Cain, Tracy Wyllie, Bill Benson

Minutes from May and June meetings approved as submitted.

New 801s

Tracy reported one 801 accident. A custodian was throwing away some broken glass that was in a plastic bag. The glass protruded from the bag and cut the person's arm. Bill Benson reported that this problem has been solved, broken glass will be placed in puncture proof garbage cans with liners.

New Safety Grams

None
Vickie Lee will be submitting a safety gram regarding the 6th street entrance, as you turn into the Badgley parking lot, a bush blocks the view creating a hazard. The bush needs to be trimmed back.

Building inspections should be done quarterly. Security could do inspections as they complete their ordinary duties, and fill out a checklist. The Safety Committee could look over the checklist quarterly, responding to immediate concerns as they come up as usual. The Safety Committee will come up with a checklist.

The weapons policy is still pending.

Next meeting is scheduled for August 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m.
