Frederic Stutzman I don't know if I was "born" to be actor or not, but I do know that it has become my one true calling. There is nothing else I would be happy doing fo the rest of my life. I first appeared on stage during my Freshman year in high school. I was the only person in my class to do so. I loved it, and continued to try out and perform in every production until I graduated in the spring of 2000. After high school, I began attending Eastern OregonUniversity. I was undecided about what I wanted to do, and although I liked college, after a term I decided that I needed a break from school. I did however try out and was cast in a show at EOU. I never got to perform in it though. After showing up late for rehearsal for the third time, I was cut from the show. That was one of the most devastating experiences of my life. Nobody knew, but as soon as I was outside and by myself, I was in tears during my entire walk home. After a year of living on my own in the "real world", I decided that I might want to consider acting as a career. In the spring of 2002, I auditioned, once again at the university for Annie Get Your Gun. I was only cast in the chorus, but that was enough to prove to me how much I loved doing theatre. I am currently a theatre major with a performance concentration, and will be starting my Junior year. I'm excited about this coming year. I'm personally vowing to do all I can to make it a great one. |
