Matt Barney

Matt Barney was born on April 20, 1984 in the city of Spokane, WA. Growing up, Matt had a wild imagination and an incredible fascination with movies. He wanted to be Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future , but Mr. Fox eventually evolved into Michael Jordan, and then onto Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice. Even with his heroes changing from the movie world to the sports world, he still managed to keep film dreams in the back of his mind. Matt’s high school days were filled with numerous activities that ranged from athletics (football and track) to ASB leadership, but never in this time did he consider theatre. It wasn’t until Matt left the fraternity life at Washington State University that he discovered Eastern Oregon University. You see, he originally came to EOU to play college football; he was successful in this up until he injured himself. It was during this time that he found the theatre department (which welcomed him in) and began his acting days. Since then, he has been fully involved in the department and hopes to one day take his act to the big time.     RESUME
